Kyle Skinner (they/them) is an "all-things-art" lover based in and around Dallas, TX. They are currently in pursuit of a B.M. in Music Composition at Southern Methodist University. While music was their first love, poetry quickly became a close second. As far as Kyle is concerned, the two are in constant conversation. Kyle revels in the natural; sounds, scents, and sores from hiking, using all of the divine creation to meditate and access the music they so love to write. 

They've studied percussion under the likes of Jon Lee (solo percussion), Drew Lang (orchestral percussion), John Bryant (drumset), and Ed Smith (jazz vibraphone). Studies of composition and theory have been conducted under Dr. Lane Harder and Dr. Rob Frank.

Kyle (when not in a dorm) lives with their amazing mother and father, their sweet little sister, and when he's home their incredible older brother. They like Mary Oliver, the rivers in Oregon, a good chai, and their old dog, Gemini.
